Shamsey T. Prior to entering private practice, he worked at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he gained valuable experience in financial markets, investment securities, and complex financial products. His Wall Street background provides him with a practical understanding of the financial realities that frequently underlie tax controversies, business disputes, and regulatory matters.
Mr. Oloko has worked at the Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service. His commitment to taxpayer advocacy and tax administration has been recognized through his appointment by the United States Secretary of the Treasury to the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel, an independent federal advisory committee established to provide recommendations for improving IRS operations and taxpayer service. He has also served as a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Committee on Taxation of Business Entities.
